This is radioheads second studio album, in which we can see a more mature group with more solid and original songs than in the bends ,this was made with the frustation of not liking their first album Pablo Honey .

This happened after Creep was a massive succes in USA and they were starting to hate this song because they played it so long for the two past years. They hated the song that much that they even made a single  "My iron long" track number 6 in the bends. which refers as creep as their iron long because it was keeping them a life but with a life they didnt want to have because people were starting to know them as the Band that made creep.

Another singles made by Radiohead were "High and dry" and "Fake plastic trees"  they where good recieved from the public in general and also by the critics. The Bends aged well and over time became a cult album.
